More cold wind, rain, and snow? And there will probably be more where that came from. You’ve cleaned the house, done the laundry and other chores, and you’re dying to go somewhere. But it’s just too cold. How do you pass these long days without dying of boredom? Well, here are a few ideas.
Try doing some old fashioned activities. Bake cookies or bread from scratch. Buy some good children’s books and read as a family. Learn to sew, knit, or embroider. Have music night. Build a snowman. Do some research and find other old fashioned family activities to try. It might just prove to be one of your favorite things to do!
Don’t just sit around bored. Find something fun and interesting to do. Make the most of the cold weather and turn it into family time. Your children will follow your lead on how they view the winter months. Teach them to enjoy them.
