Well, I was really in need of some cash so I did the unthinkable. I traded away my acoustic piano for a digital piano. Yes, I know. You probably think I’m crazy. Why would anyone want one of these digital pianos? I didn’t want one, but I really needed the extra cash.
After posting it on craigslist, I met up with some guy who would be willing to give me his Yamaha P155 and an extra $1000 for my amazing Steinway acoustic piano. I really do miss it. I can’t believe I’m trading it away. Do you want to know something though? The Yamaha P155 isn’t that bad. I expected digital pianos to be much worse, but I can still enjoy music from these contraptions.
I will miss my acoustic piano. I hope it went to a owner who is worthy of having such a beautiful piano. We shared a lot of memories, but now, I must move on. I must start using this digital piano.
